| I’ve been enchanted by the magic of words since I was a little kid, curled up in our velvet chair with my favorite book. One of my most prized possessions is a well-thumbed thesaurus. I search online for the perfect word nowadays, but there’s nothing like scanning the pages of a thesaurus to embark on a verbal adventure. I’m constantly fascinated with the way words convey beauty, emotion, character, meaning, and on and on. The possibilities truly are limitless. I’ve lived in 5 different countries on 3 different continents, and traveled to even more. I’ve ridden camels in the Rajasthani desert, sleeping under infinite sparkling stars. I’ve also swum with barracudas in Ghana (accidentally), and eaten a 5-course meal in a Tuscan farmhouse (absolutely on purpose).
